Meet our founder, Lutecia Lam

Lutecia Lam is a high school student from California, conducting research in leveraging organic synthesis for the development of novel small molecule therapeutics, and their subsequent biological evaluation. Driven by this deep passion for the life sciences and noticing a gap in the resources offered to aspiring scientists, Lutecia created Vitae Scientia to give high schoolers and young career scientists alike the ability to better navigate these vast fields. Vitae Scientia not only highlights the individuals behind scientific discoveries, but also their unique journey through the scientific pipeline, personal insights on how to succeed, and practical advice for the next generation.
